Unique trunks for travelling, and specialty cases, boxes, or chests for carrying prestigious items, exceptional objects,  and special collections. Always bespoke, solely handmade, one at a time. GREENE of 1526 is, arguably, the world's most exclusive and most discrete maker of hard-sided luggage, say high-end luxury.

In the 16th and 17th centuries four generations of trunk-making craftsmen, members of the Greene* family, were entrusted with the wardrobe warrants to Kings and Queens of England, most notably Elizabeth I.

In more recent times the Greene trunk-makers of London reappeared in the form of the namesake brand. Rooted in the exceptional artisanship tradition of the ancestor family, the design and manufacture of commissions is led by Jean-Pierre Bal, foremost designer trunk-maker in Europe,

GREENE of 1526 fulfils the expectations of discerning clients who look for a unique design and expect a remarkable finish. By appointment only.
